How much do I have to pay during the beta testing period?
Absolutely nothing! ChartAI is completely free during our beta testing period.
Can I change the chart notes in the app?
No, not yet. You can flag items that you want to edit outside the app.
Can I delete things I don’t like from my chart notes?
Yes you can! Delete unneeded notes directly in the app with a simple swipe.
When does the app record what I am saying?
The app begins recording immediately after you tap “Create Chart”. This ensures that you capture the patient’s informed consent for using the app right from the start.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Anytime! If you’re a paying customer, you can cancel your subscription at any time before the next monthly payment is due.
How much does it cost?
During the beta phase, you have free, unlimited access to ChartAI. Pricing will be released closer to commercial launch.
How do I start using ChartAI?
Simply download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play marketplace, and once we’ve confirmed your practice details, you’ll be up and running.
Do I need to buy any special equipment?
No, you don’t. We record your chart notes on the phone you already have and you simply export them to your existing PMS.
What’s my commitment?
None! We don’t do contracts as we think once you start using ChartAI, you’ll wonder how you ever worked without it.
What if I don’t like chartAI?
If you don’t like it, simply cancel your subscription. Your subscription won’t renew in the following month. We automatically delete all your info when you cancel.
How does the app produce chart notes?
We’ve built a sophisticated AI that records patient interactions, filters out ambient noise, transcribes entire conversations and then distills that into meaningful chart notes providing you with an accurate summary of the patient meeting.
What can the app record?
The app can record anything, but it will only produce chart notes related to dental-specific terminology. This means that while it captures all spoken words, it will only produce content relevant to dental care into chart notes.
How accurate are the chart notes?
Our beta tests indicate that our notes are >90% accurate. We won’t launch commercially until our accuracy rate is 99% or greater. You’re also always in control and can edit or delete anything as you best determine, even during the beta phase!
Is patient data secure with ChartAI?
Yes, we use advanced cryptography to encrypt all patient data, ensuring it remains secure during storage and transmission. Records are never identifiable by anyone but you and those on your staff with access.
Can I integrate ChartAI with my existing dental software?
Coming soon! Shortly, we will offer deep integrations into all dental practice management software. Currently, in version 1 you’ll need to export the data yourself by a simple cut and paste directly from your SmartPhone.
Does ChartAI support multiple users in my practice?
We support each team member that requires access with a unique account, registered to their individual Smartphone device.
What devices are compatible with ChartAI?
We support all current iPhones and Android devices, and most models up to five years old, too.
Can ChartAI recognize dental terminology and jargon?
Yes! That’s what it is built for, after all.
How do I train ChartAI to understand my voice?
You don’t need to! We automatically adjust to your unique voice, the volume with which you speak, and any accent you might have. Currently we offer the service in English only.
Do I have to set up menus, or templates to use ChartAI?
No, you don’t. Simply download the app, click “start new chart” and you’re set.
How easy is it to use ChartAI?
Can you type your patient ID? And then hit the “start new chart” button? And then press “stop” when you’re done? Great! It’s THAT easy.
Is there a trial period available?
Yes! We are currently in beta testing, and the service is completely free for you to use.
What kind of customer support does ChartAI offer?

How often is ChartAI updated with new features?
We are constantly improving ChartAI and adding new features. We automatically push updates to your phone for you to download.
Can I use ChartAI offline?
Yes and no. ChartAI requires internet service to record conversations and produce chart notes. You can read existing chart notes and listen to their recordings offline.
Does ChartAI work with different languages or accents?
We currently operate in English only. We are able to support most accents.
How do I report a problem or provide feedback?
You can use the chat function in the app, or by email: hello@generaltech.io or 1.833.4.GENTEC (1.833.443.6832)
What happens if there's an error in the chart notes?
You can simply swipe left to delete them entirely, or flag them for editing outside of the app.
Is there a tutorial or training provided for new users?
You can watch all our tutorials in our help center (coming soon).
Will ChartAI track Informed consent for me?
Yes! We even record patient consent for the recording itself!
Can I use ChartAI for perio-probing?
Yes, with limited functionality in the beta phase. It’s currently very rudimentary. As soon as we are integrated with your PMS, we’ll support perio-probing directly into your existing odontogram with full functionality in real-time.
